We are entering the final stretch of Camp Our Time 2011, here in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. It's hard to believe that all the kids and counselors will be headed back to their homes across the US and abroad on Tuesday morning. Even though it has flown by, the richness of the experience has been incredible. The people here are AMAZING. So many forever-friends have been made, so many fears have been faced and overcome, so much joyful fun has been had, so many people have inspired each other. My own kiddos -- who are not even official campers -- have had the absolute best time of their lives, and I have witnessed them mature by leaps and bounds while doing so.
I encourage you to check out the Camp Our Time Blog to see tons more awesome photos of the adventures of the past week (and past years), as well as the Camp Our Time website to learn more about this program.
Thank you SO MUCH for the outpouring of love and well-wishes after I announced our big news. Your kindness, encouragement, and excitement means the world to me.
Have a wonderful weekend! Posting will continue to be sparse around here until we return to our regular NYC rhythm later this month. Meanwhile, thanks for stopping by!
First, third, and last photo by me, all others by Camp Our Time Staff.
