I subscribe to about 250 blogs in my reader, and the line-up is constantly in flux. I'm always adding a few, deleting a few, trying to keep things fresh. If I had to pick a favorite one right now, I think it would be this one. It's quiet...yet it says so much. that blog looks great. in case you or anyone else needs an ID on the subject of the photo, it is Grace Hartigan with her painting. Comes from a Life Magazine article and also includes photos of other female ptrs of that generation, incl. Nell Blaine (who I wrote about) and Jane Wilson.
